Apple Pie Protein Shake

I had apple pie for dinner. Well not exactly it was an apple pie protein shake. Earlier in the day I found the apple pie fluff  on the ProteinPow website and froze 2 apples for that purpose. But I really did not wanted to have a 4th meal, so I skipped it and decided to just try my dinner protein shake with those ingredients. Pretty good, except that the vanilla casein did overpower the apple a little. I think whey might be better. I may start checking into unflavored whey to experiment more with creating different flavor combos of my evening shakes.

1 frozen apple
1/2 banana
1/2 c milk
1 scoop of vanilla whey
1 tsp of cinnamon
1/4 tsp guar gum
1/4 tsp xanthan gum
1/2 c ice cubes

I got a new cookbook. And those recipes look really yummy too. Could be a runner-up to Georgies Racing Weight Cookbook. Which is my total favorite!

I am still working on tweaking my sleep. And my latest aid is this nice little sleep mask. When you live in the city there is almost no way to get a room really dark. Here are my favorite little sleep helpers, liquid melatonin, Epsom salt and the sleep mask (which I now had for over a year but never used it).
