Pig Roast and more connections

I haven’t hung out with the Backpackers&Hikers meetup folks much this summer, but today I went to the Pig roast lunch. We had a great time, unfortunately by the time we got there they already carved the pig, the only thing that was left intact was the head. Oh, I will spare you that picture. I guess those pigs roast for quite some time, they had put it on the grill already at 2am this morning to be ready by 12pm.


We also talked about planing some hike/paddle combo meets before the season ends. So hopefully we can make it happen before the water gets too cold. It sure would be fun.

I did my food prep early this morning. It was a quick one again.
