Oh how I missed the paddling and my paddle friends over the winter! We had a great time and made already plans for some races. Lots of cool stuff to come. The weekend food was bad, way more carbs that I didn’t even track caused by the ongoing lack of sleep. You think weekends are for sleeping in, but my weekends are usually so busy that I have to get up at 6am. I am even thinking to not go for CF in the morning to catch up on some much needed sleep. I will still do OLY at 6pm. Fresh air makes hungry and I am already so tired. The wind coming down the lake was pretty bad, causing some white caps on our way back. I went on my knees for the last 1/4 mile as I just did not wanted to fall into 39 degree water even though I had a wetsuit on including neoprene booties and gloves.
Gosh I was so lucky today, there was a deer crossing the road about 10 feet from my car in the middle of broad daylight on a 65mph highway. Glad there wasn’t anyone behind me as I had to slam the breaks really hard.
My new tenant is starting to move in tomorrow and I can return my focus on finding an awesome job that allows me to do some fun stuff at work and gives me flexibility for my personal time too.
